On the right is D. R. Kight Sr. on the left is Johnnie
Martin. The fish were caught out of Sulphur River there close to
DeKalb Texas in May of 1959.
Juanita Smith, now from Oregon shows off some Buffalo that
she and her sister Linda wrestled out of a Lake near Dekalb Texas
back in the early eighties, they look to be somewhere around 30
pounds each, nice catch ladies!
This gigantic stringer of Flatheads was caught by Charlie
Cochron some time ago on the Sabine River which feeds Toledo Bend
Lake on the Louisiana-Texas border. The Five Flatheads were said to
weigh more than 600 pounds! Just so you all know, Sabine River
flows within 10 miles of my house:>)
